Our Story
In 1979, a family of entrepreneurs, risk-takers, and hard workers opened a small recreational bicycle store in Streetsville, Mississauga. Founded by Dad, Renzo Tesolin, and Mom, Mirna Tesolin, our business was built on the values of Respect, Honesty, Integrity, Authenticity, and Continuous Improvement.
Over the years, we grew alongside our community, learning and adapting to the challenges of running a business. In 1995, we relocated to our current space to better serve our customers and embrace new cycling trends.
In 2000, we faced a profound loss when Dad stepped away from the business to bravely battle cancer, ultimately passing in 2005. Despite this loss, we were determined to carry on his legacy, evolving into a more specialized cycling retail store.
Our focus shifted to enhancing the cyclist experience by showcasing advanced bicycle technology and offering specialized services such as biomechanical bike fitting and professional mechanical support.
Today, this strategy remains at the heart of Via Ciclante. We are as passionate about cycling as you are, which is why we are committed to delivering world-class products and expert services to meet your needs.
